TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Most of our lamps are custom, antique, or vintage. Some are non-returnable, due to their fragile nature and one-of-a-kind status. Please keep in mind that all of our antique or vintage items have been completely rewired, refitted, and cleaned. 

We do not sell antique or vintage items that are cracked, broken, or overly worn. It is the nature of all antique or vintage items to have some degree of wear, and while we strive to sell only items that are minimally affected by age, please be sure that you are satisfied with the condition.

We will be happy to answer any questions or send you more pictures of the lamp that you are interested in via email or text. Please be sure to provide the product number of the item and your contact information. We will promptly respond. If you live nearby, please come to our beautiful shop by the Bay and see what we have to offer in person!

Before ordering, please ensure that you have made the appropriate measurements relating to where you will be placing your lamp. While there are no ironclad rules for measurements, we can offer some tips: 

  1. The lamp should supply the proper amount of lighting for your needs.
  2. The lamp should fit on your table and the lampshade should not extend beyond the edge of the table.
  3. The lampshade should be the proper size for the lamp. A wrong- sized shade can make the lamp look unbalanced and affect the feeling of a room. 
  4. The lampshade fitting should be the appropriate type and size for your lamp—see the illustration—and the fittings should not be visible when the lamp is viewed straight on, as it is in the illustration.

DELIVERY AND RETURNS

Please inspect your item immediately upon delivery and notify us of any damage or shipping errors. Shipping or handling fees are non-refundable unless the item is damaged by shipping or we have made an error with the order.

If your shipped item is eligible for a full refund, it must be returned within 10 days of delivery, in the original condition, with the original packaging, and must include all hardware enclosed. We use UPS only. Items purchased in the store must be returned within five business days, and all of the above conditions apply. There are some areas that we do not ship to, so please inquire before ordering if delivery is not to the United States or Canada.

SAFETY

Please be sure to use the proper type of lampshade and bulb for your lamp. Some lamps and lampshades have maximum bulb wattage requirements. We are available during business hours to assist you with any wattage questions you may have. Remove all plastic wrapping and unplug your lamp before changing a bulb. Do not place a lamp (or any electrical appliance) close to any water supply or source such as a bathtub, pool, sink, or spa.
